Hey guys, I'm finally taking a minute to update you guys on what's been going on in my life the past week. It's been busy as fuck! A lot of good and some really bad.

First, I flew to New York for my father's memorial service. I've been flying back and forth to visit my dad in the hospital as he died of cancer the past few months and he finally died last week. The memorial service was on Saturday, his birthday, and I gave the eulogy. It was really sad but it really bonded my family together and my dad would have really, really liked that. I have a lot more traveling coming up the next few weeks. First up is a trip back to New York City this weekend to film with Dark Alley Media. The return of Master Nick

I'm at the San Francisco Airport waiting for my flight to San Diego. It's 6:30am and I slept about 3 hours last night. Been working my butt off and traveling a lot. The trip back home to see my dad was sad and depressing. I was hoping he would pass while I was there like the doctors said he was going to... but he didn't. He's still hanging in there. Sad. The cancer is everywhere and he's on a ventilator just waiting to die. Thank God he really doesn't have much pain. This week was crazy again! I planned out my latest Treasure Island Media BreeDSM shoot over the weekend. Saturday I went to the location we were shooting at and surveyed it for the ability to do some bondage and rope work. Sunday I had a bondage rope class at my house and practiced the bondage I was going to direct on the shoot on Monday. First thing Monday morning I woke up bright and early, went to the gym, packed up the rope and gear I needed for the shoot, and shot a text to the Dom/Top reminding him of the call time and asking him to bring his boots and a cigar if he had one. The response I got was. Yes, "I'll bring it on Saturday." What? Turns out that even after I planned the entire shoot around his work schedule, and flew a new model in for the shoot, he was backing out an hour before the shoot. FUCK!!! So I took the bull by the horns and handled the situation like a professional does. After contacting some of the better local Doms I know with no luck... I stepped in myself. Master Nick has been in the shadows too long and it was good to see him! The sub/bottom was awesome. The rope work was awesome. The shoot was awesome! Not so awesome that the shoot ended at 3pm and I had to be on set topping at Slut Machine Video at 4pm. But I got there in time and that shoot went awesome as well. I actually had a cun shot that was well over 6 feet! Not bad for my second one in only a couple of hours. I was back at Slut Machine for another shoot yesterday. Probably the hardest fucking I've ever done thanks to a willing and talented bottom (Thank you Patrick O'Conner!). I fly to San Diego in a few minutes for another shoot with SX Video. I love working with those guys! I fly back to San Francisco tonight and then head to New York in the morning to spend 6 days with my dad. The trip was supposed to be for his memorial service, but since he's still here it will be some more time spent with him in the hospital.

I'm just back from New York where I visited my dad in the hospital and said goodbye to him. The doctor's are surprised he lasted this long since the cancer is really out of control now. I have a ticket to go back in a week and a half and they told me there didn't think there would be any chance of him being around then. So I guess that will be a trip for a memorial service. Gotta say this really, really sucks. Doesn't help that I had a ton of personal drama on top of it and that I'm single again. Sorry about all this depressing stuff. Kansas City Rocks... Who knew?

My weekend trip to Kansas City and my appearance at the Hamburger Mary's Bear Bust: Cave Break was awesome! I stayed at the couple that own the Mary's house and they made me feel so at home. Actually, a lot better than at home. They had my space in the house fixed up like a fancy boutique hotel, complete with snacks, coffee machine, a mini-fridge, and lots of booze! The house was amazingly beautiful and the views from the back porch were so pretty.

The staff at Hamburger Mary's were so nice and attentive and the people that attended the event were sweet as hell. There were bears, pretty boys, sexy chicks, trendy and hot lesbians, leather daddies... just about anything you could be looking for. I don't remember ever seeing such a diverse group of people at a gay establishment before. And everyone mixed and mingled and got along. Here are some photos from my weekend.
