Nick Moretti... Freak

One of my favorite websites picked up my recent blog post and featured it today. Of course it was the one about the dead birds. Last time they featured a post that got Francesco D'Macho really pissed off at me. The time before that it was about me beating a rat to death with my shoe. And before that it was about me being featured in a Craiglist ad asking to be bareback gang-banged in some sleazy, Miami Beach hotel.

So basically, everyone who reads The Sword thinks I'm a big ole freak. Oh well... I guess any publicity is good publicity. I guess.

Click here if you want to read what they posted.

What's going on with me...

At the last minute I decided to change my travel plans for my San Francisco/Bound Gods shoot next week and I am flying to Los Angeles at the crack of dawn! My best friend Tim Kelly asked me to hang with him for the weekend and then head to San Fran for my shoot on Tuesday. How could I say no? Especially when flights between Los Angeles and San Francisco are on $39!

I'm actually really excited about it because the few times I have been to LA I've stayed in Weho and I really didn't like it at all. I went to two bars (The Abbey and Here) and had a really boring time. I am a very friendly guy and no one talked to me at all. Everyone hung out in these little, self-contained groups. When I finally felt bad enough, I walked back to my hotel and stripped to shower. When I reached into my pants I found a few random pieces of paper... with names and phone numbers on them! Guys had sneaked their numbers into my pants without even talking to me. Would I actually call someone who did that?

That was the only night I went out there. All the other nights I would spend a couple of hours at this little Mexican restaurant that had an awesome Happy Hour (of course no one would talk to me there either, but it was outside and the food was good and the margaritas were cheap) and then head to the 7-11 to pick up some munchies and head back to my hotel for the night.

This time I'm going to get to see a lot more of LA thanks to my experienced friends and I'm really, really looking forward to it!

The photo at the top of this post was taken by my good friend and awesome photographer SylvesterQ.

I really like the new sleve on your arm. It almost looks like it was done with "Da-Glo" inks. Hope it stays that intense for you.

I don't even read the sword. I can't stand gossipy Queens. I would definitely come up to you to at least say hello if I saw and recognized you somewhere. That's pretty shallow to slip a piece of paper in your pockets. I hope you have a safe and good time on this trip.

Man! I want to *be* Nick Moretti for just one day (well, that would include a night too).

Have a great time in both LA and SF!

Gee Nick,

You even can scare a gargoyle. hehe.
Looks like someone at the Sword is jealous of you. And quit frankly, if you're a freak then so must we all for reading and posting on your blog.

Have fun in LA. And oh, how is the butt doing from sitting in that tiny hard seat on the airplane on the way home from Folsom?;)

Pinches!

For the record...
I have actually hung out with the guy who writes for The Sword several times and he is a really cool guy. He has a dark and twisted sense of humor like me. If I was doing his job I would be drawn to the same posts he is picking up. I mean, you have to agree that it's not that often you read about a porn start beating a rat to death.

I actually like The Sword a lot because they just don't promote and slant things one way to bend to the big porn companies. They cover and present a really wide spectrum of porn subjects, from the mundane to the ridiculous. I just happen to fit into that second category a lot of the time.

and Pick...
My butt is just fine. ;-)

Society finch: 'It has been found the best "pairing" for fostering is to use two males, this works better than either two females or a male and female pairing. Two males will usually accept eggs, or even partly grown young without any hesitation.'

--You probably know this already.

Maybe those society finches can help your zebra finches' decorating too. lol

To help future zebra finch eggs?? Also those zebra's could probably learn from the society finches, that you will put in the cage to rear their young; to prevent further dead chicks.

Setting up your Societies For Fostering - Society finches are best parents when set up with 2-3 birds per cage, instead of in a mixed colony. Societies in a colony set-up tend to be very inconsistent breeders and foster parents due to their "social" behavior. I have found that one true sexed pair per cage works best, but have been successful housing 2-3 cocks per cage (The advantage of having only males is that there are no hens to lay numerous eggs when they are fostering eggs or babies).

Nick, no more pics of dead animals, OKAY!

If you're reading The Sword, why aren't you defending yourself on it? At least to say, "There's a lot more to me than dead animals. And I felt really bad about the dead chicks. I just didn't know what to do about them," or whatever.

They call you a monster. Shame on them. You let them. Shame on you.

Thanks for attempting to defend my honor. I actually do not feel bad about The Sword coverage. I completely understand why they choose to pick up my more bizzare posts. You have to admit that not too many other porn stars write about the weird stuff I choose to write about sometimes. I also need to ad that I have hung out with the guy who writes for The Sword on several occasions. Actually, we just hung out a couple of weeks ago while I was in Sam Francisco & will hopefully grab a drink together next week while I'm there. He's a really cool guy and we both have the same strange sense of humor. So no shame on either side here. Thanks again for your support!

You could avoid these posts altogether if you get those social finches, preferably two males to foster abandoned zebra finches' chicks.

Your post got me reading about finches and now I'm interested in them. They seem to be a relatively inexpensive pets, that breed easily.

Of course, this is IF you want more birds, maybe this is why you let the chicks die? Do you want more zebra chicks?

You are right about finches being great, inexpensive pets. They are so small and cute and are little bundlesof pure energy. It puts a smile on my face every time I seethem or hear their distinctive, individual chirp.
I do want all of them to breed, but I can only set the conditions for it and then it's up to them. I love the idea of the male society finches raising the abandoned babies and will definately check up on that. Thanks for the info!

I would assume the 'fosters' would have to be an older pair. So that they are more inclined to do so. You'd have to talk with a breeder of those societal finches to find out if they have any.

I'm really interested on this, can you keep posting on this, if you do get those society finches? I'd really like to know how it turns out.

Supposedly they are so docile because of the breeding in captivity for 250 some years. They will not retaliate to the dominate bird in the cage. If you have no society finch hens in the cage, you won't have problems with them fostering.
