Last night I had an awesome meal with the BEST Steamers and Fish & Chips I have ever eaten. Every time I'm here in Ptown I make sure I head over to Bubala's by the Bay and have both of those things.
Steamers are these gross looking steamed clams with a big black tongue sticking out of their crack. (See photos below.) You pull the clam out by the tongue and dip it in the butter or the clam broth that they serve it with. Fucking delicious! And it goes great with beer or with a very dirty martini... or two... or three.

The fish and chips are just amazingly delicious. So wet and juicy and hot on the inside and just the right crunch on the outside. The fries are also awesome and they serve them with malt vinegar. YUM!!! (See photo below.)

This morning I had breakfast in bed. (See photos below.) It was probably the best I've ever had on vacation. A big beefy portion that I couldn't stop devouring. It was so good and he was so sweet that it actually turned into a nice lunch at another local restaurant (Bayside Betsy's) that has THE BEST New England Clam Chowder anywhere. I'm hoping to have the same breakfast a couple of more times before I leave Ptown.

I love those clams. I think we used to call them "pissers" for some reason or another. Haven't had them for a long time. Haven't had breakfast in bed like that either in a very long time either.
