It's all for the birds

After a few days of rest... well, as much rest as I ever let myself get, I was feeling better. Been spending the last week working on my house. Trying to get it to a clean and organized condition so that I can be comfortable going away next week. I have so many trips coming up and I hate to come home to a mess. I've also been trying to fix up the back yard at the same time. That has pretty much been my life lately. I really have no desire to go out to a bar or club. Although I have been going to the movies quite a bit.

The disturbing picture of the poor white zebra finch at the top of the post is heartbreaking. This is the same little finch that had a stroke a while back. And then 2 more since then. Even after all that he was able to get around the cage, although he was kind of hunched over and could hardly fly. He seemed perfectly happy.

Then the other day he was on the bottom of the cage not looking so happy. I picked him up and saw that all of the feathers on his underside were missing. Horrible.

I checked with the local bird expert and we ruled out all illnesses. All of the other birds are fine. His thoughts were that the other birds were picking at him since he is weak. They want to kill it so that it doesn't bring the flock down.

I started adding liquid iodine to the water in the cage and observed the bird for a few more days. He didn't seem to be getting picked on my the other birds. Until this morning... when I found two of the other finches picking at his underside. He is now in his own little cage next to the big one. Poor little thing.

To make matters worse, I found my beautiful yellow canary dead on the floor of my cage when I woke up this morning. He was happy and healthy so this comes as a big surprise. I'm not sure how old he was when I got him and he may have been old. He was at the top of the pecking order in the cage so I know that he wasn't abused by the other birds. I miss his singing already. The other canary hasn't sung once today. I wonder if he will sing now that his little singing partner is gone.

I leave for San Francisco on Monday to shoot with Kink.com again for their new website. I really haven't been shooting with them that much lately. It just seems that way because they released a lot of the videos that I've done with them a while back all at once. I'm tired of having to justify how often I shoot with them, the plot of the shoot, and the acting. I'm not an actor... I'm an artist who does some BDSM porn on the side. I don't make up the storyline at Bound Gods but I do try to do my best to make it as interesting and believable as I can. End of story.

I take the red-eye back from San Francisco on Thursday night, land Friday morning, and have only the one day to get ready for my next trip. I leave on Saturday for P-town and Carnival week. THANK GOD! I need a vacation really badly right now. I'll take my computer and do some web design work, I'm sure. But no housework! Just dancing, drinking, eating, relaxing, reading and some drawing and painting. I wouldn't be opposed to some hot sex while I was there. I can't remember that last time I had sex. Ya... it's true... believe it or not.

Sorry about the birds. That's just life. we all got to go some day. Who knows what we'll find on the other side. Might be better.
You've been doing a great job at BG as far as I'm concerned. Please don't let some of those negative comments affect your mood. You don't even needs to respond if you don't want to. And please don't forget you have a lot of fans like me who like to see you there as much as we can.
Have a great trip and lots of fun.

Hey sweet-thing (and fellow bloggers)
You're right, you do need a holiday - plenty of eating, drinking and doing the wild thing! As far as BG's is concerned please stop worrying about those reviews. It's the same offenders all the time with the same inane comments - on all the actors - they just don't get it. You're my favorite actor on that site, hell that's why I joined! So get your house and your babies organised and hit that party scene. Make sure you come back needing another holiday. Love ya

I'm sorry to hear about your birds; mine died a few years ago...But you should have a great time in SF though.

Very sorry about the canary and hope the finch does ok now that he's in his/her own cage.

Anytime you're forgetting when you last had sex ... you're more than welcome to come to Toronto to make it less a thing of your past. ;o)

Damn! Did I say that out loud? LOL

I'm so sorry to hear about the little white bird. I'm glad you put him in another cage. At least he'll have some peace. Poor sweet thing! How is he doing?

My condolences on the death of your canary-so suddenly. Has his mate resumed her singing yet-if at all?

I assume you're back from everywhere else and had a good time!
