Because my physical therapy (which is really going AWESOME!) is not painful enough I figured I'd bring a little more pain into my life. Actually, A LOT MORE PAIN!
I'm going to start on the rest of my sleeve tonight right after work. The tattoo guy designed it around the work he already did on my arm. It's going to keep the traditional Japanese/Zen design. A big, colorful lotus blossom with some more flowers and lots of water and waves to blend it with my Koi. Also some "air" elements to tie it into the Dragon. I'm so psyched!!!
I've already shaved my arm in preparation. So I have one hairy arm and one bare arm. It looks freaky! I also have a couple of demerol ready to pop right before I go into the shop and I'm picking up a bottle of Coconut Rum. That combination usually will get me through 4 hours of having my skin ripped apart. Hopefully, that will be enough time for me to have the entire outline and maybe some of the shading done.
And if that wasn't enough pain...
Tomorrow morning I go for my 3rd round of Laser Hair Removal on my back, shoulders and neck. I never really even wanted that but I got it for a gift last year and I have to use it. IT HURTS LIKE FUCK! They say it feels like a rubber band snapping on your skin. Ya... if that rubber band is on fire and is being snapped from the moon!
So I should be crumbled up in a ball and crying like a little baby by tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck!

Sounds like you are a glutton for punishment. Your tatoo looks cool already, can't wait to see it completely finished. Just call you Master Pain......or Master in Pain.....
Good Luck!!
Lee :-)
Looking forward to seeing the tat develop. Love it as it is already, and it sounds like it's only going to get more beautiful.
Are you inking over your elbow? OUCH!
I didn't mind getting mine done but I also didn't have anything tattooed directly over bone ... not about to either.
Can't wait to see your finished product!
Sounds exciting! Good luck!
I can't wait to see how it turns out. I do wonder if you're a little to into the pain thing getting all this done in one weekend.
I think you should get another koi to keep the one you have company. :) Hope all goes well!
