My LA Adventure - Day 3

Day 3 started out with Brunch at Basix again (I guess Tim really loves that place) and then a ride around town. I've never really seen any of the tourist spots. Tim wouldn't actually stop anywhere but I was able to take a couple of photos from the car.
Grauman's Chinese Theatre is located along the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame. I could see some of the stars on the sidewalk as we sped by.

Everywhere you look there are HUGE signs advertising movies, TV shows, iPods, and even Manhunt!

Tim said the house on the top of that hill used to be owned by Sylvester Stallone. Nice!

After the drive we went to The Faultline Bar. I've never been to any bars outside of Weho and I was excited to go, especially because I heard they have big video screen showing porn films.

It was great to run into Ken Knox. Even though we keep in touch on Facebook sometimes, I was out of the loop on what he had been up to since he left Unzipped. I know I've read posts that he's been on the set of some shoots lately. Turns out he's been hard at work learning some new skills and polishing up on some old ones. It's not a hard call to say that we will be seeing some of his films out there in the not so far future. I wonder if they are going to be porn or mainstream? Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Turns out Zac Spears bartends there and I was psyched to see him again. We met whle we were shooting Blue Movie and hung out a little bit at the wrap party. He is a BIG TEDDY BEAR! Is there anyone who doesn't love that man?

Tim looked over at the wall across from where Zac was bartending and said, "Holy shit... that's me!" And it was him. An artist had done a portrait of him and there it was hanging on the wall. The artist's name is Curry Mendes and you can check out his work on his website: www.currymendes.com.

After taking a couple of photos with some fans, downing a couple of beers and a shot of Jagermeister (THANKS ZAK!) we headed back to Weho for a birthday party at Here Lounge.

I ran into a bunch of my friends there including Peter Axel and his boyfriend Greg. Hadn't seen them in quite a while and it was good to reconnect.

After a couple of tequila and 7-Ups we went to meet a couple of friends for dinner at this awesome Mexican restaurant called Marix Tex Mex Cafe. A pitcher of Margaritas later and we were ready for dessert at a very popular frozen yogurt shop.

I've known Greg for a long time from meeting him on cruises and at parties, but I never got to spend any real time with him and his partner. What great guys! Even if Greg is a "Dirty" boy.

Tim was tired so we headed back to the house. I was NOT tired so I talked to my friend Jason who picked me up and took us back to Weho for another margarita.

I met Jason on an Atlantis cruise a couple of years back and have hung out with him at Folsom for the past two years. He is cute and fun and rumor has it that he has a BIG dick.
